[ it was a long trek to get where they needed to go. there were more tourist-traveled paths. safer ones. but this one comes from memories long past so loki let his feet guide him to where they needed to be. it's strange. the land has changed, the people has changed and yet, it feels no different, even on this unknown earth.

perhaps that is simply the nature of gods. their stories tie them everywhere.

he glances at sephiroth. ]

[But he does turn his attention to his hands, tugging off one glove experimentally.]

[ he holds his hand out. ]

[Sephiroth takes it, curling his bare fingers around Loki's.]

It makes me glad that I am... whatever I am.

You were always so afraid of this form. [As Sephiroth is of his own, at times.]

But this way... we fit together.

[ he threads their fingers together. ]

Like two halves meeting.

We suit each other in a way no others could.

[He leans his forehead to Loki's. They've never kissed like this, but...]

[ loki has always been too afraid to try. too afraid he could hurt someone.

but that fear is gone as he leans in to kiss sephiroth. ]

[Sephiroth leans into it, soft but eager. The opportunity to show Loki truly that he loves all of him, and that... what he is, whatever he came from, he can use it to express this.]

[ it takes him a moment, tentative at first with a press of his lips. but he relaxes soon enough, letting sephiroth in. ]

[Sephiroth sinks into him, drawing him closer. There is nothing about Loki that's unwanted.]

[ he slides his arms around sephiroth's neck with a hum. he's wanted. even like this. ]

...does it feel any different?

[He's curious. He may have mimicked Loki's form but that doesn't mean he has every nuance.]

It does feel . . . more powerful. The sensations are stronger.

Do you think that's inherent?

I don't know.

[ a brief pause. ]

And it doesn't matter. All that matters is how I feel about it.

And, how do you feel about it?

[ loki touches his own lips absently. this is his true form. his true self.

but, as he had once said, so are the others. this is just . . . one layer to his whole. ]

It tingles. And . . . I like it.

It was... intense, when I first began seeking touch. But it was good.
