I guess technically Superman is a higher power who meddled with Earth, but his world was destroyed and he's lived his whole life here- there. Only fanatics say he should leave.

What- how did it happen? I've heard of Ragnarok, but, um... you seem very different than how you'd be after that according to the myths.
