What: A massive jailbreak of lowlevel, non-meta criminals from CCPD headquarters, after Loki removed all the walls and cage doors.
When: On a clear December night, during the mistletoe mania.
Where: Downtown Central City

The Central City PD are located downtown, taking up a lot of valuable ground with a stupid architectural design that wastes as much space as it does money.

It's normally foreboding griege brutalism, but everything is looking a little Jetsons at the moment. The sections were the cells are? Don't have any damn walls left. Or cell bars. It looks like something out of the Jetsons - floating concrete and rebar discs for floors and roofs. Pipes spraying water out and up and everywhere because the walls are gone. Don't worry, you won't get shocked because all the wires are gone too.

Those inside the building will have to make do on emergency lights (if they're in an area that still has walls). The circuit is obviously so badly damage that it's stopped working - a too-smart-to-be-a-cop secretary very quickly realizes the danger of an electric file and trips all the breakers on purpose.

The prisoners? About a third of them immediately make a run for it. Another third move away from the open walls, but sit quietly with visible hands because this is crazy, suspicious shit and they are not going to make it worse on themselves. The rest wait to see how far the first runners get and begin peeling off in small groups in the next two minutes.

The missing walls and bars will reappear at dawn like nothing ever happened, but there’s no way of knowing that.

[ Being around doesn't give him much of a motive, and Tim would like to think that he had a motive to not do this. ]

[Jason takes out his grappling gun and aims for a rooftop north. It occurs to him that tonight will be the first time they're rooftop hopping together. It's an odd feeling. He's so much more used to be a loner]

[ But Tim fires his own gun and swings off north. It’s a rhetorical question. ]

[Jason continues to swing, occasionally pausing to check for anything suspicious]

[ Tim spots something, and twists in midair to shift his weight and change the direction of the swing, landing on a ledge to get a closer look at two people fiddling with the back door of a sporting goods store. ]

It wasn’t a premeditated thing. It just - I don’t know. Happened.

[Jason seamlessly twists his own body to follow Tim and lands after him to take a closer look as well]

That was hell of a tease from him then.

I think I'm just some sort of weirdness magnet. Even when I try to date normal like a normal person, this happens.

[ Tim sighs as one of them starts kicking in the door. ]

[Jason is also watching]

Slim. You find other ways to deal with the cold if you've been homeless for a while. This draws too much attention.

[ There are times when it's nice to have the sort of brain that doesn't stop picking away at things, and others were, yes, it does feel like a gross invasion to have the sort of cultivated memory database that Tim has.

[ When, really, he wants to ask if Jason needs a minute. As he knows the answer he'd get would be "nO" and possibly being pushed off the roof, Tim won't. Much better to pick and control your own drop to convenient flag poles and awnings.
