What: It's their friendiversary! Smoochiversary? They've been Something for a year.

[Things have been a little shaky between them of late, but as they promised at the start, they are working to mend it. This relationship, whatever anyone might want to call it, has lasted a full year. It's an achievement that Sephiroth would not have thought himself capable of... connecting with someone, and holding onto that connection.

That seems worthy of acknowledgement, even celebration. Perhaps especially because of Loki's recent doubts, Sephiroth has taken it upon himself to create a memorable evening.

Or at least try to? He does not have Loki's dramatic flair. He does, however, arrive at Loki's door with a bouquet he chose himself after researching flower meanings, because research he can do.]

[ good, because loki is so eager for it, hands grasping at sephiroth's shoulders to hold him close as he presses against sephiroth. ]

[Even now, he can't always predict Loki's affection--its intensity or when it will come--but he knows to welcome it. It feels good to be pulled at, to collide out of this desire for connection. As an expression of their connection.

The illusion slips away from him. He's only thinking about Loki.]

[ that suits him fine because all he cares about in this moment is sephiroth. no, not just that, but them and this union that has yielded so much. and wouldn't have happened if they hadn't tried and worked for it, stuck together as stubborn and fruitful as it can be.

his desire has overcome him. loki presses kiss after kiss, to the corner of sephiroth's smile, to the center of his lips, to the curve of his cheek. ]

[It makes Sephiroth laugh, just in genuine.. delight. It's such a new feeling and he treasures it. This is what they've wrought together, against all odds.

He starts to tug Loki back towards his bedroom.]

[ loki follows eagerly, wrapping himself around sephiroth as they head to the bed with laughter in their footsteps. ]

[Sephiroth tugs Loki down onto the bed on top of him by the scarf he's wearing. A good use for it.]

[ perfect, because the angle lets him press kisses down the curve of sephiroth's ear to his neck. ]

[Sephiroth tilts his head to give him easier access, his fingers meanwhile curling into Loki's jacket, keeping him close.]

[ he likes that, being kept close. sephiroth won't let go. loki won't fall. he lays a kiss at the nape of sephiroth's neck, fingers gliding over his chest and sides. ]

[He likes the kisses, but--]

Not so light.

[ that prompts a smile but he acquiesces without question. his grip becomes tighter, more firm, pressing down on sephiroth and his kiss nip the skin. ]

[Sephiroth hums in satisfaction at the change, though he tenses briefly at the nip--he wasn't expecting teeth, but it's not unwanted, and he relaxes into it.]
