[He turns his head to catch Loki's mouth in a kiss.]

[ loki leans into it with a happy hum in his chest, reverberating. it feels like a long dance coming to a close. no, not a close, but the beginning of a new dance. where they are fully in sync. ]

[Yes, they are opening into the next leg of their journey, leaving their doubts behind them. Sephiroth sways with him almost as though there is some kind of music.]

[ here, in this small apartment, a world has grown. they carried it within them, piece by piece and finally put it all together. a world is growing. in the sigh of the kiss, in the press of their palms. a world is growing, as one.

loki presses against sephiroth eagerly, running his hands through his hair. ]

[Sephiroth always meant to hold on, but he never anticipated becoming Loki's world, or Loki becoming his. He couldn't conceive of it.

Now he melts into Loki's fingers in his hair and starts to move them towards the bedroom.]

[ loki smiles as he tugs sephiroth along, a skip in his step. ]

[Sephiroth shuts the door behind them, and his eyes scan briefly over the room. They'll have a bigger one soon, that properly belongs to both of them, but he does like that he had the opportunity to bring Loki into his space.]

[ loki nips at his lower lip teasingly. ]

What is it?

I think... this may be my first "home."

[dothelokimotion]

[ his expression softens. ]

It certainly feels that way, doesn't it?

[ oh. loki melts at the sentiment. ]

[He had an apartment back in Midgar. It was a space he chose, and it gave him a sense of security. But...]

...it became home when I invited you into it.

[ loki rests his palm over the curve of sephiroth's cheek. ]

You are my home.

I like that.

[ he smiles. ]

I'm glad.

It is... an important feeling.

[One of those feelings he always envied. What did it mean to be home?]

[ loki presses kiss after kiss to sephiroth's face. ]

It is yours. My home, my family. My husband.

[unkindled_madness]

Family...

[Is this not what family ought to be? Someone he loves, someone he trusts, someone who feels like home.

He takes Loki's hand, kissing his fingers and then resting his lips against them.]

[ loki smiles at that, his ears pink. ]

[When he glances back up at Loki and notes the blush, a faint amusement enters his expression. He kisses Loki's fingers again, then his knuckles, watching him this time.]

[ oh, the flush is deepening rapidly. it's very similar to the way loki presses kisses to sephiroth's knuckles, so to have it done to him in turn is very flattering. ]

[Sephiroth's smile widens, and he leans in to press a kiss to Loki's reddened face.]

[ loki huffs as he accepts it. ]
