[There may be some changes to the timeline now but Descendant Karaoke Bar and Lounge is still open for business. There are always people looking to have a good time drinking and blowing off some steam with a good song. It doesn’t matter if they’re ordinary civilians or some of Central City’s more... colorful characters. Just be nice to the bouncers and check your weapons by the entrance first.

To reflect the fall season, Descendant has included seasonal drinks like pumpkin beer, apple cocktails, and spiced maple bourbon.

Meanwhile, some of this month's most popular songs seem to be reflecting Halloween, such as Highway to Hell and Monsters. Or maybe you want to do a more classy number like Witchcraft? Descendant looks like a speakeasy after all. And in a total coincidence, Time Warp has also shown up on the popularity chart.

If you drop by at Descendant on a Coyote Ugly Night, you’ll find the atmosphere considerably wilder and wetter. You might’ve even already seen some of the social media posts and videos of the employees performing. They certainly look like they’re having a good time.

Perhaps you’re coming in during a more normal time. Come by for a drink. Maybe rent a private karaoke room or karaoke on stage in front of others if you’re feeling brave. There are some bar games around too.

You can always just people watch as well. Those who are especially observant might notice that some of Descendant’s customers are a bit... furtive as they keep their heads low or quickly scurry to one of the private rooms.

There’s always the reading room too for those who want a more quiet ambiance.

And then there's the very select few who are allowed upstairs in the attic apartment.

Whatever the case may be, Jason will be around. As Descendant’s owner, he’s a busy guy with plenty he has to do]

( he is absolutely working to overshadow junior.

he doesn't need to. hell, working at the bar isn't necessary one bit - especially considering the amount of cash jason'd inherited just recently. if any of them really needed shit, it wouldn't be any skin off jason's back to hand it out. of course, playing it that way would be significantly less entertaining.

especially when fucking with his mini-me like this is so satisfying.

the slap earns him a grin, jason's head tipping back to look over to junior instead of the asshat he was just talking to. he gives junior a very, very pointed look-over, head to toe, without moving a single step from his half-lean over the bar. )

Oh, sure. Everything's just spiffy. Larry here was just telling all 'bout his wife, who he left doped up at home so he could come an' hang out with the boys.

( did junior think he was starting shit for no reason. )

[Welp. At least it's well-directed aggressiveness. Jason picks up on the unspoken cues as he pretends to smirk]

You don't say? Well that's a good and loyal customer. We should reward him.

[reneger]

( the grin he throws at junior has just the right amount of visible teeth. jason takes a moment, then pulls himself up to his full height. turns his hips in so he's angled half between junior and larry over there. )

Yeah? Just what I was thinkin'.

[robintohood]

[Jason's smirk remains on his face as he watches his older self shift]

Last I checked, we got something in the back for VIPs like Larry.

[reneger]

Do you?

( head nodding over towards larry, but he keeps his eyes on junior. )

'cause I'd love to lend a hand.

[robintohood]

Sure. Help me bring him over. VIPs deserve escorts.

[Jason starts to walk over towards the back of the building]

[reneger]

( generally, this is where he'd leave shit to junior because this isn't his circus, but, there's a special place in hell reserved for guys like this, and jason's more than willing to be his chauffeur down. larry starts to figure out what's going on and stands himself up, but it's too late for him.

because jason's reaching across the bar and grabbing hold of his shirt. leaning in real close with that same, smarmy grin on his face. he murmurs something soft, too quiet to be heard over the other barsounds, then--lugs him straight over the bar itself.

twists him around until jason can get his arm firmly behind his back, gripping onto his hair with the other to force him to walk himself forward two steps in front of jason. he stutters, starts throwing a fit, starts yelling, but all jason does is throw a wink over his shoulder and saunters his way on after him.

[robintohood]

[Meanwhile, the younger Jason is doing his own confident saunter as he continues walking to the back of the building. Soon enough he reaches the back exit and opens the door. It leads to a dimly lit alleyway near the dumpsters]

There we go. Right where he belongs.

[reneger]

We throwing him in, or are we gonna tear him to pieces first?

( violence is the only language some people understand. )

Since it's your fine establishment an' all.

[robintohood]

[Jason cracks his knuckles and his grin towards Larry grows more malicious]

I always could use a workout.

[Jason punches the man across the jaw]

[reneger]

( beating people up is a great bonding activity. especially while wearing crop tops. junior goes for a hit, and jason's grinning. waits for larry to try and turn around to take off with a sputtered excuse, before he's throwing a punch straight for his gut. )

Ain't much of a workout, is it?

[robintohood]

Nope. That was barely a warm-up. I'm sure there'll be another soon enough.

[Given the kind of reputation Descendant is supposed to have for Central City's criminals, it's just a matter of time]

[reneger]

( larry doubles over, which jason takes as a good enough time as any to shove his shoulder into his gut and lift him up, walking him over to the dumpster so jason can toss him right in. )

'less I throw you in next.

[robintohood]

[Jason snorts as he throws open the dumpster doors and gives Larry a punch to the head]

If we're gonna do that while looking like this, it should at least be in front of the customers.

[reneger]

( good bye to larry, who now lives in the garbage can and can be ignored. he's unimportant now. jason does give the dumpster a good kick, before he's turning to walk back towards the club. )

You wanna wrestle to get people to throw money at us?

[robintohood]

[Jason slams shut the dumpster before following his double]

Two well-built guys getting all sweaty wrestling each other while in tight wet crop tops hits several kinks for people.

[reneger]

Huh.

( he knows that. he knows damn well how it'd appeal to others, and their similarities also help. instead of giving a real answer though, he's just--looking over junior for a moment, then snorts. )

Well, you'll get there one day. Well-built.

[robintohood]

[Jason knows damn well his older self is purposely trying to piss him off. Trying to irritate him in all sorts of ways big and small. The worst part about it is that it usually works. So he can't help but react at that dig too]

Yeah, yeah. Seems like plenty appreciate my scrawny ass.

[reneger]

You're not terrible.

( not in that sense, anyway. jason takes a step in towards junior. to shove against his shoulder. )

Bulkier than Timmy still.

[robintohood]

[Jason shoves back]

I've managed plenty so far.

[reneger]

( they're not even back inside yet. junior shoves, and jason--turns into him to squint at him. )

You haven't beaten me once, brat. You sure you want me to publicly humiliate you?

[robintohood]

[Jason's temper begins to flare up again]

It'd be worth it.

[reneger]

If you insist.

( he's going to reach for the back of junior's very small shirt, to try and curl his fist into the fabric. )

How hard do you want me to go?

[robintohood]

[Jason glares at his double]

Now or when we make a show of it in front of people?

[reneger]

I'm not fighting you here.

( he's dragging junior back inside, thanks. if they're doing it for show, he's doing it for show. )
