This is a pain in the ass.

[Manipulating some vectors in his legs, he launches himself at the t-rex as it struggles to get up. That results in a kick to its head, knocking it down again. At the same time he grabs ahold of the vectors for its bioelectricity, causing it to convulse and collapse as he messed with it just enough to knock it out.

Once that's done he's hopping off of its head, re-extending his crutch, and hitting the switch on his choker back to normal mode.]

[ gabby approaches the t-rex carefully. ]

He's . . . okay, right?

[levelshift]

He's alive.

[That's the important thing, right?]

Let's go turn the generator on before they wake up.

[honeybadgerer]

I'll get right on it.

[ gabby heads off quickly towards the fence, finding the fuse box and flicking the switch back on. ]

[levelshift]

[He'll wait around with the dinosaurs, keeping an eye on all of them in case they start to wake up.

Luckily, the streetlights and such will turn on when Gabby turns the generator on. He sighs a little. Great, with the fence back on no civilians are going to be eaten.]

[ gabby returns, looking contemplative. ]

They should be okay for now.

I don't like cages but . . . it's better than being dead.

They wouldn't stand a chance out there on their own, even the predators.

[Claws and teeth can't stand up to modern weaponry, let alone superpowers.]

You're doing them a favour.

I know.

Yeah. [That's understandable.] I don't, either.

Were you stuck in a cage?

Sort of, I guess.

[There was the Special Esper Institute, and if you think about it, Academy City's walls are meant to keep espers in as much as they are to keep the rest of the world out.]

... Not like it would've been for you, though.

[There is no way in hell anything he might've gone through is in any way comparable to the experiences of a clone created in a lab. He's absolutely sure of that.]

I mean, I wasn't really comparing.

I think I've had enough dinosaurs today. I'm gonna head back.
