[ loki snaps his fingers. ]

What if we burned illusions?

Illusions?

Like when you conjured something for an effigy?

Exactly like that.

Well, then we could burn whatever we like.

Precisely.

[ he rubs his chin. ]

I could conjure the shop. Or we could think of something else.

You may as well include the shopkeeper. It isn't as though it's real.

I will do that.

[ he concentrates for a moment and the shop appears. it seems rather nondescript with a big sweet sign and a shopkeeper that looked perpetually bored. ]

[Sephiroth studies the shopkeeper for a moment.]

This is what they looked like?

More or less.

Thinking about it now, it's possible they were spelled in some way.

Hmm.

Well, I will remember the face just the same.

[He readies a fireball in his hand.]

Shall we?

By all means.

[ loki doesn't really conjure fire, but he does have his magic blasts. green light gathers in his palms. ]

[unkindled_madness]

[He nods to Loki and releases his, letting the flames strike the illusion.]

[dothelokimotion]

[ it starts to burn. loki lets it for a few minutes before adding a blast and letting the structure crumble.

it's not as satisfying, but it's pleasing to see. ]

[The blast is a nice touch.]

...it's a start, at least.

There is some vicarious pleasure in it.

And who knows? Perhaps they'll see and it'll send the right message.
