[ it was a long trek to get where they needed to go. there were more tourist-traveled paths. safer ones. but this one comes from memories long past so loki let his feet guide him to where they needed to be. it's strange. the land has changed, the people has changed and yet, it feels no different, even on this unknown earth.

perhaps that is simply the nature of gods. their stories tie them everywhere.

he glances at sephiroth. ]

You're not cold are you?

What do you imagine next?

...this planet can be home, for little while longer. There's still much of it we haven't seen together.

And then, we'll find our way there. [He nods skyward.]

[ loki falls quiet for a moment, his gaze wandering over to sephiroth. yes, that's true. maybe there's a lot of this proto-earth that's worth seeing. they're stuck here. why not make the most of it?

even if it chafes a little, loki has time. they both have enough time. ]

All right. A little while longer.

[Sephiroth looks back at him.]

You'll enjoy showing off, won't you?

But of course. I have plenty to show off.

Indeed you do.

And you should enjoy this world too.

Now that I've learned how to enjoy things.

[He chuckles.]

I would enjoy that.

[He leans in, brushing the side of Loki's face with gloved fingers.]

[dothelokimotion]

[ perfect. he leans into it with a pleased hum. ]

[unkindled_madness]

[Sephiroth winds his other arm around Loki's waist and pulls him close. It's nice to have the warmth of it, too.]

[dothelokimotion]

[ it certainly is. loki curls his arms around sephiroth's neck, deepening the kiss. ]

[unkindled_madness]

[It's such a natural thing for them by now, fitting together like this, although the closeness is somewhat hindered by the winter clothes. Sephiroth tightens his grip a bit, compensating with pressure.]

[dothelokimotion]

[ loki chuckles a little, pressed close. ]

Do you want to try shifting?

[unkindled_madness]

...if it's all right with you.

[dothelokimotion]

[ loki lets out a quiet breath. ]

I think . . . I'd like to try it.

[unkindled_madness]

[Sephiroth smiles softly at that.]

Then let's try it.

[dothelokimotion]

[ he smiles back as he lets his form shift to blue and red. ]

Whenever you're ready.

[unkindled_madness]

[He draws back a little, though never completely letting Loki out of his grasp, as though touch even through the barrier of clothing will help him mimic the form. He closes his eyes, focusing on how it felt before. He shifts slowly, blue at last climbing up his neck and spreading across his face.]

[dothelokimotion]

[ loki waits until the colour settles before reaching out to brush his fingers over sephiroth's cheek. it still takes him aback but . . . the loathing, the fear no longer seems to be present.

this is the man he loves after all. ]
