Who: Everyone!
What: LOKIFEST
When: Late May
Where: Sunset Falls Park
Content Warnings: N/A

Lokifest is here!
[ The park has been commandeered to host all kinds of fun activities, stalls and various things for families to do. Colourful green tents and banners, all emblazoned with Lokiās symbolic helm are littered all throughout the park with helpful signs navigating tourists and locals to the myriad of potential amusements for everyone to enjoy.
First, you should help yourself to one of the gift bags. Full of goodies such as Loki bobble heads, a plastic helm tailored to your head size and a green snake as a pin. If youāre not keen on these and try to dispose of them, they will find a magical way to cling to you. Perhaps if you find a creative way of getting rid of it, the spell may fail.
Best of luck!
But donāt get caught up in the goodies. There are plenty of games and competitions for people to try out! For instance, there is a dagger throwing competition where you can win a protective runestone made by Loki himself. The daggers are made of rubber and youāre required to hit the moving Thor-gets — targets.
May your aim be true.
Or perhaps youād like something a little less challenging. Thereās a cosplay competition where the ābest dressed Lokiā wins a free dinner and a chance to shake hands with the mayor. Even if you lack the costume, there are bins of convenient Loki costumes (ranging from poor quality to high) for you to try out.
Do your best Loki impression and win that free dinner!
And because this is Sunset Falls, there is a best bowtie competition for your dogs to try out. The winner gets a one-of-a-kind bowtie from Loki.
Of course, itās not all games. There are vendors with all kinds of food, ranging from corndogs to cotton candy. You can even pick up some flavoured boba tea or lemonade as you wander through the festival. There are even small plays artifully re-enacted around so you can get a glimpse at Loki's life.
So come by! Enjoy the festivities! ]

Sephiroth | OTA
[All of this reminds him a little of the islands, which is... a mixed bag. He did learn some things about himself during that long carnival, and even enjoyed himself for some of it, but as with all things there, it wasn't entirely his choice.
This is. He chose Loki, and he chose to come here in support of him, pushing down the part of himself that still wants to dismiss this as nonsense.
He accepts one of the goodie bags on entering, and stands for a moment near the entrance looking wryly amused by the bobblehead. He turns it over a few times, gives it a shake, and laughs softly.]
II. Dagger Throwing
[Sephiroth is actually quite good at games like this, and having Thor as a target provides an added incentive. He may not be used to rubber weapons, but he compensates quickly.]
No. Keep the prize for the next person. [He doesn't need such an impersonal charm.]
I don't suppose there's a version with real knives...?
III. Around!
[Sephiroth can be found wandering most areas of the park. You might even catch him eating a corndog.
Is it strange to relax like this? But aren't there things to celebrate? Central has its own problems, but Sephiroth hasn't lost time since Loki went into his mind. Whatever else is going on, whoever was behind that, it's good to be in control of himself.
Although some of his wandering will take him to the small cemetery at the northernmost end of the park, where he stands looking like he's trying to remember something.]
( ii )
[ he seemingly steps out of nowhere, dressed in his usual black suit and tie. though this time, he is wearing his helm upon his head with its gleaming horns. ]

Injury to whom? Do you think I would miss so badly?

I'm sure I could procure some knives if that's what you're in the mood for. Good to see you.
[ It had been awhile. ]

Balthier.
No, I've no great need today of destroying anything. It simply seems a bit childish.
no subject
I'm not sure how festivals work on your world, but yes, they are often designed for children.
no subject
I wouldn't know. I never attended any festivals on my Planet.

[Amaterasu was only hired a short while ago and Lokifest was entirely Loki's project regardless. As such she'd had extremely little to do with the planning.]
[However, as Parks and Rec director it was still her duty to help make sure the festival went off without a hitch.]
[This meant walking the park grounds, keeping an eye on the games and exhibits, and investigating any problems that cropped up.]
[And also gorging herself in corndogs.]
B. Bowtie competition
[Unfortunately, due to being head of the department technically in charge of the festival, Ammy couldn't enter the bowtie competition herself.]
[Getting to judge it is a nice consolation prize and she is taking the duty with an appropriate amount of gravitas. Each bowtie wearing dig is given her full attention.]
A
This wolf does look a bit like Saxsice. He'll try talking to her first.]
...you're eating quite a lot of those.
Re: A
[A chattering crow alights on top of her.]
Caw! Caw! Didn't anyone ever tell you to not to question a lady's eating habits?
no subject
......no.
no subject
[Amaterasu chuffs, trying to remind the crow of his actual duties.]
Right, I was getting to that. This here's the Lady Amaterasu. Goddess of the Sun and Director of Parks and Recreation.
[Ammy gives Sephiroth a big doggy grin.]

edalyn clawthorne š¦ the owl house š¦ ota
eda loves it.
has loved it since she first heard about it. as such, in the spirit of the occasion, eda has taken to outfitting herself in one of the loki-styled outfits. owlbert doesn't need anything more than a little plastic helm, but eda has always had a flair for the dramatic. she obviously grabbed one of the more dramatic outfits, a deep emerald dress ordained with gold, a massive fur coat, golden hair decorations, and a helm of her own.
green's not really her colour, but she still feels like she's rocking it. and what's the point of dressing up if not to be seen?
eda can be found walking through the grounds, ready to "help" anyone who looks like they're undecided on where to go or what to do next. it's easy to see her coming too as she towers over most of the stalls. )
Feeling a little lost?
( ask a hag, she'll tell you where to go. )
2. lean in
there is such a thing as the importance of leaning in. it's a crucial and vital skill that more people really ought to learn. is it a little insane to dress up like your mayor? of course. what's more insane is to pass up the chance. how often do things like this happen?
how much break time do they get between the chaos? there's probably going to be some problem or another in a couple weeks. why not just put on the stupid clothes and admire all the dogs sporting fancy little bowties?
should someone have an interest in the boxes of gear, eda is here and ready to all but guide them to the dressing room tents. unfortunately, too many like to simply walk away! )
Hey, hey! Where are you headed? We got to get you into something that suits you.
( put on the plastic helm, shinji. )
3. wildcard
eda will largely be walking around the festival and available for interaction. feel free to put this witch into a situation. )
1!
Maybe? It feels like I've been all over and nowhere. How do you think it's going?
no subject
( careful, thoughtful, but definitely a little exaggerated. almost like she's trying to pretend to be a little more elegant. )
I think it could be better if we started getting you more into the spirit! How do you feel about a change of attire?
( warning: mayuko's best interests may not be at heart. )
no subject
I have plenty of spirit-- I put on the pin!
[She gives the jewelry a game tug. Yep, the snake pin's an official one because it is NOT budging.
Since it's
the ProfessorEda, though, she sighs.]How much of a change are you thinking of?

[ he certainly hopes she is. much of this came through with eda's help. loki is more or less caught up with the culture here, having lived in this place for over a year now, but he still needs help with his blind spots. ]
no subject
How could I not? I was born for theatre.
( said while pressing her bony fingers against her chest. )
I'm almost surprised everything seems to be going so well!

Mayuko Shiraki| Fruits Basket | OTA
Mayuko does not get why the festival is in honor of Loki, instead of whoever heās making the pact with. The vainglory of it sticks in her craw. Thankfully, there is boba tea to help with that. The matcha even matches the color theme. Charming and refreshing.
She reassumes a pleasant mien after a sip. Be supportive, but not sycophantic, thatās the goal. Her pact is already taken care of and if she can help shape positive messaging around the event, all the better for the office.
All day, sheāll be wandering the booths and viewing the competitions, taking pics and clips for āthe social mediasā, documenting the⦠momentous day because there is bound to be a request to add a page to the history portion of the city website, she can sense it. Her pup Jun might make an appearance, bowtie in place, trying to apply puppy-dog eyes to anyone with a morsel at hand.]
Ah, thatās a perfect shot. How about one more?
no subject
Unfortunately, puppy-dog eyes are not particularly effective on Sephiroth. He glances to Mayuko.]
...I assume he's perfectly well-fed and doesn't require anything from me.
no subject
She gets two square meals a day and treats from the house-ghosts. She doesn't need it, but she wants it.
[The puppy sees that the Eyes aren't working. Time to upgrade to sitting up and waving her front paws!]
no subject
He regards the puppy, unimpressed.]
So this behavior works on ghosts?
