Hm. I'm not sure, actually. He's certainly much older than I remember.

Stark is like that. I wouldn't put too much stock on it. He's an egoistical man responsible for all his own troubles.

Strange's affiliation with them... is that the source of your dislike for him?

No. That was because when I visited Earth, he dropped me through a portal for thirty minutes.

It was annoying.

What do you mean, he dropped you for thirty minutes? Repeatedly?

He dropped me in a hole that had no end. It was bottomless. So in it, I was falling for thirty minutes.

I was a known destroyer. Stepping back on Earth set it off. If I had known there were magicians on Earth, it would not have happened.

And it won't happen again.

He's not much of an enemy these days. None of them are. Even Barton whom I — [ ah. yes. he left out this part a while back, didn't he. loki pauses, and tries again. ] — Even Barton whom I had controlled. I took over his mind.

...did you speak to him about that, when he was here?

Not in detail. He had other things in mind and he did not see all that angry with me.

[ which is what made their interactions so unusual. and it was nice. for a bit. then clint had said, why are you pretending to care? and loki had gotten stabbed trying to bring sephiroth back. he fell into a rut. he didn't see how his care benefited anyone. ]
