To be fair, he gave me several options. I just thought the ring would be the most practical.

[That was the day Loki told him he loved him, and Sephiroth didn't even know if he felt it. Loki wanted someone to love him openly, and Sephiroth could barely kiss him in the open.]

[ loki smiles, brushing his fingers against the curve of sephiroth's jaw. ]

[Sephiroth nods.]

Equals. [In the intensity of their feelings, in their devotion to each other. It doesn't have to be exactly the same.

He gestures with the ribbon.]

[ loki moves so sephiroth can work with his ribbon. ]

[He's unused to braiding someone else's hair, but he's careful and meticulous, working the ribbon into a braid to tie back Loki's hair from his face.]

[ loki feels it out with his fingers before smiling. ]

It's perfect.
