[Closed-ish] July birthdays!
Who: All BatFamily members and friends of BatFamily
What: Birthday party for both Tim Drakes
When: July 19th
Where: Central City

[Today is both Tim Drakes' birthday. In honor of this, Descendant Karaoke Bar and Lounge is closed for the night for a "private event."
On the ground floor where the bar is and where there's the most open space, most of the tables and chairs have been pushed aside while some have been rearranged to accommodate the party. A taco bar is lined up on one side. Hard and soft shells are available, along with a variety of fillings people can choose to make their own tacos.
A projector screen has been set up in front of the bar, alongside a laptop loaded with a movie library.
The birthday cake is a coffee and chocolate ice cream cake with vanilla frosting. It's safely stashed in the kitchen's fridge until it's time for dessert.
Though this family is absolutely dysfunctional and its members don't all come from the same universe or timeline, they're going to make sure two family members have a good birthday party today. Jackass guilds be damned]

So all day he had been busying himself with getting Descendant ready for the get-together. Focusing at the immediate tasks at hand were also good ways to ignore his ambiguous feelings about family in general so hey. Everyone's a winner, right?

He guesses - he didn't really expect much this year? They have a lot happening, and he wasn't even 100% sure that anyone would know the right date given the differences between everyone's universes. (Birthday breakfast with Dick definitely proved that theory wrong, at least in his case. He does share this birthday with TJ.)
Which is to say, he's having some Feelings, mostly happy ones. He has friends here, and his family's here, and even the ones who have kind of a dicey relationship are trying to get along for the occasion. He has a new jacket that he has no doubt has a tracker from Jason and that he's already partially stocked with the kind of goodies a Robin obviously needs on them at all times. Sometimes he has a plate with tacos, or cake, or he's sitting at one of the tables playing some deck-building card game someone brought, or chilling near the projector watching whatever movie's on. A couple times, he might excuse himself to somewhere quieter like the attic safehouse or the roof when he needs a few minutes away to sort out his feelings when they start to get - complicated, a little bit. Mostly, though, the newly-minted fifteen-year-old can be found having a good time.

things he is throwing aside because he's here right now, there's cake waiting, a shitton of tacos, and a nice, easily accessible bar he can climb behind at any point if needed.
which explains the whiskey cup in his hand that he's been walking around with and slowly working his way through. jason mostly keeps to corners, to nice wall-spaces he can lean back on and watch everyone else be more sociable in between snagging more tacos because this is the proper way to attend a party. )

He wasn't exactly sure how different or similar their tastes were to his own Tim, but since one Tim seemed not that different maybe the other wasn't?
So Duke pulled money to get some silly gamer coffee mugs and gamer pillows. Maybe Tim the Younger won't end up slouching all the time like his Tim does.
He does make himself a couple spicy hard tacos (he loved the crunch) and wave across the room at people. Meeting everyone at a birthday party is a little awkward, almost reminds him of his first formal event with the family. But it's been pretty chill and he just wants to get to know everyone.

Of course, it's easy to rope him into a game or two, though the rules where he's from might be different (or he might be messing with you). The movies are all unfamiliar to him-- either they're from his future or not from his dimension at all. So they're mostly lounging around, although they definitely have an eye on the taco bar. It's just that actually eating might get awkward if they stick to normal feline anatomy. And they have no intention of going on a chocolate bender in mixed company, so overindulging there would be bad.
Until the food situation gets sorted, it's just lounging like a nice kitty. A kitty with extra eyes and markings that don't occur in nature.
